DIRECTIONS TO OUR VENUES ........

Shirland Village Hall, DE55 6BB.... Travelling from North or South on M1, exit at J28 and take the A38 towards Derby. Exit onto the A61 Chesterfield (signed Alfreton & Swanwick). Continue on A61 though Alftreton until you reach Shirland (approx 2 miles), you will pass the church and the RED LION (ph) on your right. About 200 yards after the zebra crossing, take a left turn into Nursery Rhymes Day Nursery & the village hall, follow around to the left where Shirland Village Hall can be found with parking on site.

Exit A38 at A61 (Chesterfield/Swanwick/Alfreton) and proceed towards Alfreton on A61.  Go straight through Alfreton and all lights, eventually coming into Shirland. Shirland Miners’ Welfare is clearly visible before the zebra crossing on the right hand side.  Turn right immediately in front of the Welfare into Clay Street.  The Car Park is at the top of Clay Street on the right. The Welfare entrance is on the corner of Clay Street/Main Road and access is via. Buzzer/ intercom to the left of the door. The meeting/presentation will take place in the upstairs Conference Room which is accessible via the set of stairs to your right (also a lift available).  Please phone the Secretary (see Mobile below) on arrival to enable access.
